Sailboat Removal in Winter Garden, FL

Mast stepping systems lower masts hydraulically when accessible. For boats without stepping systems, we cut masts in sections, securing each piece to prevent falling or property damage. Assessment determines the safest method. Winter Garden residential properties often have limited space, so we plan carefully for driveway and backyard removals.

Different keel types need different approaches. Fin keels lift from engineered points. Full keels distribute weight differently. We assess keel type, depth, and hull condition to determine proper lifting and bracing. Wrong approach causes structural damage—we get it right the first time.

Yes. We coordinate marine towing to bring water-based sailboats to land or directly to disposal facilities. Partially submerged vessels require salvage assessment, but we handle the coordination. Marine recovery is part of what we do—you don't hire separate towing contractors.

Written release of liability documents sailboat ownership transfer and abandonment protection. This prevents future claims about the vessel's status, environmental compliance, or ownership. You have proof the boat was properly removed and you're protected from liability.

Yes—all of it. Sails, dodgers, biminis, canvas covers, winches, blocks, cleats, stanchions, lifelines, shrouds, stays, halyards, sheets. Complete removal means nothing stays behind. Salvage items can be marked before removal if you want to keep specific hardware.

Assessment and planning take 1-2 days. Actual removal depends on mast handling, rigging complexity, and boat location. Land-based sailboats usually complete in 1-3 days. Water-based vessels need marine towing coordination, which adds time. We provide timeline during assessment.
