Hollis is a small New England town in southern New Hampshire, located about 30 miles northwest of Boston. The community features a diverse mix of historic colonial-era homes, mid-century ranch properties, and newer residential developments spread across approximately 24 square miles. Many Hollis properties sit on larger lots with mature landscaping, wooded areas, and challenging terrain that complicates removal access.
Neighborhoods like Depot Hill, Oak Hill, and Pine Ridge represent the range of residential development in town—from established properties with long driveway access to newer subdivisions with tighter layouts. The Route 122 corridor runs north-south through town, connecting Hollis to regional areas and making transport of large items manageable when planned properly. RVs left on Hollis properties create ongoing problems: unwanted motorhomes taking up driveways, abandoned travel trailers sitting for years, and 5th wheels that owners inherited but can't move.
Unlike the municipal Hollis Transfer Station, which doesn't accept large RVs or oversized items, professional removal handles complete extraction, fluid disposal, and liability documentation that residents need for clean property transfer.
